Sanjiv Sobti

Sanjiv Sobti is the current director at BankUnited. Sobti has an extensive background in the financial industry, having served as a senior managing director at Bear Stearns & Co., a managing director at J.P. Morgan, and a managing director at Lehman Brothers. Sobti also has experience as an independent board member of a NYSE-listed bank holding company and as the chairman of a private equity fund making control investments in real estate development companies in India.

Sanjiv Sobti received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Sanjiv then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Wharton School. Sanjiv concluded their educational career by earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance from The Wharton School.
