Patricia Nakahara

Patricia Nakahara is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as a Partner at Baptista Luz Advogados since July 2020, Patricia specializes in corporate contracts and co-leads the Fintechs practice. Previously, Patricia was a Partner and Senior Associate at Mundie e Advogados from January 2005 to July 2020, where responsibilities included assisting Brazilian, US, and European clients in business dealings in Brazil, leading due diligence investigations, and negotiating transactions related to mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. Additionally, Patricia worked as an International Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from July 2008 to July 2009, aiding in cross-border transactions. Educational qualifications include a Professional Master's degree in Business Law from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, and a J.D. from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
