Jayaraj Perumalsamy is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital transformation, information technology strategy, and project management across various sectors including FMCG, F&B, CPG, and facilities management. Currently serving as General Manager - Group Digital, Information & Technology at Barakat, Jayaraj drives innovative initiatives that enhance efficiency and streamline processes within the organization. Previous roles include Head of Information Technology at Al Ghurair - Facilities, where significant operational efficiencies were achieved through ERP implementation, and extensive IT management positions at ETA Group and Etisalat that encompassed enterprise architecture, software development, and digital transformation. Jayaraj holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bharathiar University and has developed a robust skill set in technology standards, applications, and data analytics throughout a diverse career.
