Xuan Tran

Xuan Tran is a Design Engineer currently employed at Barber-Nichols since February 2023, previously serving in the same role at Redwire Space from March 2020 to February 2023. Xuan began professional engineering experience as Engineer I at A.R. Wilfley & Sons, Inc. from December 2017 to March 2020. Earlier, Xuan contributed to STEM education as Discovering Technology Lead at Colorado School of Mines, focusing on inspiring elementary girls, and facilitated an Exploring Technology Summer Camp to engage middle and high school students in computer science. Xuan participated in the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) with the National Society of Black Engineers, creating lesson plans that enhanced students' understanding of engineering concepts. As a Student Ambassador at Community College of Denver, guidance was provided to prospective students through the enrollment process, alongside a role as Academic Advising Lead Office Assistant, managing office assistants and event organization. Xuan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an Associate's Degree in Science with an emphasis in mathematics from Community College of Denver.
