Johnny Kernisky

Johnny Kernisky is an experienced lighting professional with a robust background in project management and technical operations within the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Field Project Manager at Barbizon Lighting Company since August 2018, Johnny has also held roles as Senior Service Technician and Field Service Technician. Previous positions include Chief Lighting Technician at In & Of Itself and Lighting Designer for the production "A Steady Rain" at GUILD HALL OF EAST HAMPTON, INC. With expertise ranging from lighting design to event project management, Johnny has successfully managed teams and contributed to major productions, including "Saturday Night Fever" on its national tour. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Theatrical Lighting Design, Johnny has collaborated with numerous media organizations and possesses a diverse skill set encompassing programming, technical directing, and crew training.
