Marta Delatte

Marta Delatte serves as a Digital Communications Advisor and Data Scientist for the Barcelona City Council's Directorate for Digital Communication Services since September 2019. Additionally, Marta functions as a Speechwriter for the Mayor's Office. As Research Director at Liquen Data Lab since 2014, Marta focuses on raising awareness about knowledge communities. Marta co-founded and acted as Creative Director at ellen james, where work centered on memory studies and the attention economy from 2009 to 2019. Marta has contributed as a writer to VICE Media, a teaching assistant at the University of Hull, and has served as a reviewer for RiDE: The Journal of Applied Theatre and Performance. Curatorial roles at the Sarajevo Winter Festival highlight Marta's expertise in modern photography and audiovisual arts. Education includes a PhD in Digital Media from the University of Hull and multiple degrees in cultural management, music, communication, and journalism from prestigious institutions.
