Kapil Kanbarkar

Kapil Kanbarkar is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in digital banking and software engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Digital Banking at Barclays since August 2018, Kapil leads engineering efforts to innovate digital channels and drive revenue growth. Prior positions include Director roles at Barclays and HSBC, focusing on engineering transformations and core banking API development. As a co-founder and CTO of Medibox Technologies, Kapil developed India’s first digital platform for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Their earlier roles at Razorsight, IBM, and other companies involved significant contributions in product development and engineering. Kapil holds an Executive Program in General Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Karnatak University.
