Dennis Bigras

Dennis Bigras is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in metallurgical processes and operations management within the mining industry. Currently serving as a Processing Manager at Barrick Gold Corporation since May 2024, Dennis has held key roles including Senior Metallurgist and Senior Specialist at IAMGOLD Corporation, and Manager of Mill and Surface Operations at Minto Metals Corp. Prior positions include Mill Manager and Assistant Manager of Mineral Processing at McEwen Mining Inc., as well as various supervisory roles at Kirkland Lake Gold. Dennis's career began as a Metallurgical Technician at North American Palladium, followed by a Research Technologist role at Teck Resources Limited, where metallurgical test work supported mining operations. Dennis holds a Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems from the University of Fredericton and studied at Haileybury School of Mines from 1994 to 1997.
