TaRessa's expertise blends strategic organizational communications with successful blog writing/editing and management and award-winning print and broadcast journalism, all with a focus on diversity and inclusion. She increased awareness of Spelman College and strategically positioned its first Black woman President, Johnnetta B. Cole, as a multi-faceted leader, expert, and role model; successfully designed and implemented the Black Community Crusade for Children Public Awareness Campaign for the Children’s Defense Fund; and improved message development and impact for U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Louis W. Sullivan. TaRessa has a strong reputation as public speaking, media presentation, and crisis communications consultant, and is the author and/or editor of several books.
