Alicia Trost

Alicia Trost is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations and media strategy. Since June 2012, Alicia has served as Chief Communications Officer at BART, overseeing a wide range of communication efforts, including media relations, social media strategy, and customer experience initiatives. Prior to this role, Alicia held prominent positions in the California State Senate, including Communications Director for Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and Press Secretary for Senate President pro Tem Don Perata. Alicia's career began in broadcast media as a producer at KTVU, where significant contributions were made to the morning news broadcasts. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
