Yingyao Zhang

Yingyao Zhang is an experienced professional in the biomedical and technological sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of the Scientific Division and Vice President at BaseBit Technologies since May 2019. Previously, Yingyao held various roles, including Special Assistant to the General Manager at 1YongTech and Product Leader and Senior Consultant at Synyi. Additional experience includes serving as Product Leader at Medshares and as Product and Operations Director at i-MD & ShenminTech, with a focus on digital innovation in healthcare and the development of glucose monitoring products. Earlier in the career, Yingyao worked as an Algorithm Engineer at ArcSoft and gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong. Yingyao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Peking Union Medical College, as well as foundational studies at Kunming University of Science and Technology.
