Mike Khayat

Mike Khayat, M.S., currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Business Development for BASF Bioservices North America, focusing on Protein Discovery and Engineering, Strain Selection and Optimization, Downstream Processing, Formulation, and High-throughput Screening since April 2024. Previous roles include Territory Sales Manager at Integrated DNA Technologies, dPCR Specialist at QIAGEN, and Channel Partner Specialist at Agilent Technologies, where expertise in molecular biology and genomics was developed. Prior experience includes research roles at San Jose State University and Dynavax Technologies, alongside sales and business development positions at Shipwire Inc. and Safe Electric. Mike holds a Master of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from UC Santa Barbara.
