Nele Domen

Nele Domen has been with BASF since March 2010, currently serving as Head of Procurement Benelux, and has held various roles including Project Procurement Manager for significant projects at BASF sites in Antwerp and Ludwigshafen, leading teams and developing procurement strategies for major investments exceeding half a billion Euros. Additionally, Nele has experience as a Service Excellence Manager, focusing on cross-functional optimization and operational excellence. Prior roles include Senior Procurement Verbund Coordinator and strategic buyer positions for fabricated equipment and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies. Nele also contributed to the field of procurement education as a lecturer for the VIB association. Nele holds a degree with high distinction in economics from KU Leuven and additional qualifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile project management, and professional procurement.
