Niels Smout

Niels Smout has extensive experience in maintenance and turnaround management, currently serving as Werkvoorbereider Turnaround management at BASF since February 2023. Prior to this role, Niels held the position of Supervisor/Werkvoorbereider maintenance at Air Liquide from September 2021 to January 2023. Niels also worked at NLT-Pivaco Group from October 2018 to September 2021 as Service Manager and Projectleider. Earlier in Niels' career, a role as Maintenance Supervisor at BASF from September 2011 to November 2017 laid a strong foundation in the industry.
