Pri Carter

Pri (Prerana) Carter, Ph.D., currently serves as the New Business Development Manager at BASF, having previously completed rotations in sustainability product management, pilot project leadership, and application science within the company's Leadership Development Program. Notable accomplishments include developing a go-to-market prototype for a significant market opportunity and initiating digitalization projects to enhance profit margins. Prior to BASF, Pri held a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Biorenewable Chemicals, focusing on synthesizing bio-based monomers and polymer characterization. Earlier experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Compressor Controls Corporation, an R&D Intern at Feed Energy Company, and an Environmental Engineer Intern at Ajinomoto Heartland Inc. Pri holds both a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
