Julio Quintana

Julio Quintana possesses extensive leadership experience in the energy sector, serving as a Director at Basic Energy Services since December 2016, and at Newmont Mining Corporation and SM Energy Company since October 2015 and July 2006, respectively. Previously, Julio held the positions of President and CEO at Tesco Corporation from 2004 to 2015 and was a member of the board during that period. Additional experience includes roles as VP of IPM and VP of Marketing for the Americas at Schlumberger from 1999 to 2004 and Asset Manager for Deepwater GOM/Midcontinent at Unocal 76 from 1980 to 1999, along with various engineering and supervisory roles. Julio holds a degree from the University of Southern California.
