Taija Björklund

Taija Björklund is a seasoned product manager and owner with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Product Owner at Basware since November 2017, Taija is responsible for a global SaaS Procurement product in a multi-site development environment, utilizing the Kanban process to prioritize backlog tasks. Prior to this, Taija held the position of Product Owner at APInf Oy, where responsibilities included bridging business and customer needs with development teams. Taija's earlier roles include Product Owner for an open-source API management tool at Sampo Software Oy and a Senior Engineer in Internationalization at Nokia, with expertise in designing support for various writing systems and keyboard localization. Taija holds a Master's degree in Translation Studies from the University of Tampere and additional educational experiences in Russian Language and Literature.
