Dean Pankhurst

Dean Pankhurst is an accomplished design professional currently serving as Design Coordinator at Batch.Works since March 2023, where the focus is on developing a new visual language for sustainable products. Pankhurst has been an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London since October 2019, leading the Professional Practice module and co-designing workshops for first-year BA Design students. As a co-founder and Director at Subject from January 2017 to January 2023, Pankhurst managed multi-media design and manufacturing projects for various clients. Previously, Pankhurst contributed as Lead Designer for a reusable respirator project with the Royal Academy of Engineering, and held several positions, including R&D Manager and Industrial Designer at Mayku, focusing on product development and innovating engineering solutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Design from Goldsmiths, University of London, earned between 2013 and 2016.
