Luc Debruyne

Luc Debruyne serves as the Chairman of the Board at Bavarian Nordic since April 2023 and holds the position of Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences Group at KU Leuven since July 2022. Since November 2020, Luc Debruyne has been a Non-Executive Director at UZ Leuven and has been a Board Member at VIB since January 2020. Additionally, Luc Debruyne chairs the Board at FundPlus and holds a Board Member position at GreenLight Biosciences, Inc. since August 2019. As a Strategy Advisor to the CEO at CEPI since June 2019, Luc Debruyne also served as a Non-Executive Director Board member at Enochian BioSciences Inc. from November 2018 to December 2019. Previously, Luc Debruyne had a long tenure at GSK from 2010 to December 2018, where roles included President of Global Vaccines and Senior Vice President of Pharma Europe. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from KU Leuven and studies at the University of Cambridge.
