Niels Lindner

Niels Lindner currently serves as Labhead at Bayer since February 2000, specializing in drug synthesis, parallel synthesis of compound libraries, lab automation, and various analytical techniques such as LC-MS and chromatography. Niels has experience in managing compound logistics and external collaborations while providing leadership within the laboratory setting. Prior to this role, Niels worked as a Bench Chemist, focusing on synthesis planning and the organic synthesis of drug candidates, with expertise in solid-phase synthesis and combinatorial chemistry. Niels began the professional journey as a Postgraduate Student at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg from October 1997 to January 2000, conducting research on organic synthesis of potential drug candidates and enzyme kinetics, and holds a Diploma in Chemistry from the same university, achieved between 1991 and 1996.
