Andrei Stepanek

Andrei Stepanek is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the banking and investment sectors. Currently serving as Head of Finance, Controlling, Internal Audit & Process Management and Head of Product & Business Development at BayernInvest since April 2020, Andrei oversees product launches, strategic development, and project management efforts. Previously, Andrei held various senior positions at Bayerische Landesbank, including Director of Business Development Financial Markets and Director of Treasury, contributing to strategic treasury management and governance. Earlier experience includes a role at Sachsen LB as Specialist ALM. Andrei holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Cooperative Education Bautzen and completed an Accelerated Development Programme in General Management at London Business School.
