Farzad Soleimani

Farzad Soleimani, MD, MBA, FAAEM, serves as a Healthcare Partner and Venture Partner at 1984 Ventures since January 2018, while also holding the position of Lecturer in Management and Entrepreneurship at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business since August 2017. In addition, Farzad has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine since August 2015 and an Adjunct Professor in Bioengineering at Rice University since July 2018. As an advisor to the TMCx Accelerator, Farzad fosters health and medical technology innovation. Notably, Farzad co-founded eTherapi, an early telemedicine platform, and played a pivotal role in launching the Magellan™ Robotic Vascular Catheter System at Hansen Medical. Farzad's educational background includes an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MD from Baylor College of Medicine, and a BS in Chemistry from Stanford University, along with advancing studies at the University of Oxford.
