Hunter has served on the Bayside Board of Trustees since 2015 and was chairman of the board from 2019 through 2021. He is the President and a Principal of Gulf City Body & Trailer Works, Inc. in Mobile, a leader in the transportation equipment and service business since 1945. He is a UMS-Wright graduate and graduate of The Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA, where he received a B.A. in Economics and Finance. He has been involved in many industry and local associations in various capacities. He is currently a state board member of the ATA and ATA Truck PAC, a board member of Point Clear Charities, and a member of the Servis1st Bank board. Hunter is a past board member and current Board of Advisors member of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and past board member of the Thomas Hospital Foundation.
