Ghazaleh Tabrizi

Ghazaleh Tabrizi is an experienced advisor with a solid background in economics, currently working at BBA Consultants since December 2024. Previously, Tabrizi held various roles at the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) from May 2019 to October 2024, including Policy Analyst, Load Forecast Analyst, and Economic Analyst. In these positions, Tabrizi integrated diverse perspectives to provide strategic recommendations, developed communication strategies for leadership, and utilized analytical tools such as Python and SQL for project improvements. Academic contributions include serving as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, as well as conducting a graduate research project on intellectual property rights at the University of Tehran. Tabrizi holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary, a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Shahid Beheshti University.
