John Oleyar

John Oleyar is an experienced professional in engineering and finance, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Quantitative Analysis at Rice University since January 2023. As the Chief Executive Officer of BBB Tank Services, Inc. since 2017, John oversees operational and strategic initiatives. Previously, John held the position of Director of Engineering at Ref-Chem L.P. from 2012 to 2017, managing a team of approximately 100 engineers and supporting project delivery and customer satisfaction. Prior roles include Director of Research and Engineering Excellence at HSI/Atlas Copco, Vice President of Engineering at Houston Service Industries, Manager of Technical Services at HMT Inc., and Division Technical Consultant at Hilti. John holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, both from Texas Tech University.
