Tracey McBride

Tracey McBride is an experienced tourism and economic development professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Tourism Development at Métis Nation British Columbia since February 2024. Tracey has held various leadership roles, including General Manager at Northern BC Friends of Children Society and Community Liaison Officer at BC Parks, contributing to regional outreach and community engagement. Previous positions include Tourism Manager for the District of Vanderhoof and Senior Consultant at Northwest Consultants, where projects involved destination management and Indigenous tourism development. Tracey also served as Director of Tourism for the Government of Yukon and CEO of Tourism Prince George, with a background in communications as Communication Manager for the Cariboo Regional District. Educational credentials include a degree in Writing for Media from McMaster University and Sheridan College.
