Tessa Humphries

Tessa Humphries is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in managing communications strategies for various organizations. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at BC Transit since June 2021, Tessa has previously held the same role at BC Ferries from February 2016 to June 2021, where responsibilities included serving as spokesperson, managing internal and external communications, and editing the employee newsletter. Earlier experience includes leading corporate communications and public affairs at Tourism Victoria, as well as roles in travel media relations and communications management. Tessa's educational background includes a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from the University of Victoria.
