Akira Abe

Akira Abe is a seasoned professional with significant experience in venture architecture and business development, currently serving as Managing Director and Partner at BCG Digital Ventures since December 2015. Prior roles include positions as Executive Producer in a multi-regional game department and Product Owner for a global mobage platform at DeNA, as well as leadership in business development and strategic investment at mixi, Inc. Akira Abe has also held managerial roles in private equity at Shinsei Bank and corporate strategy at NTT DoCoMo. Academically, Akira Abe holds dual MBA degrees from the University of San Francisco and a MA and BA in Commerce from Doshisha University.
