Avumile McUnu

Avumile Mcunu is a Bachelor of Science in Economics student at the University of Pennsylvania, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group since October 2022, Mcunu has also held roles as a Teaching Assistant for the Wharton Global Youth Program and a Candidate Fellow at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. Previous experiences include participation in a finance insights program with HIVE DIVERSITY, a bootcamp focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital with iXperience, and tutoring for an Elementary Zulu course at the University of Pennsylvania. Mcunu co-founded Siyazana DEI, providing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion workshops in South Africa, and completed vacation work in audit, tax, and bookkeeping at BDO South Africa. Educational background includes attendance at prestigious institutions such as Eton College and Hilton College, along with a foundational education at Epworth School.
