Mark Maksymowych

Mark Maksymowych, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate in Active Global Fundamental Equities at BCI since November 2021, focusing on healthcare coverage within a long-only, value-oriented investment strategy. Prior to this role, Mark worked at CWB Wealth Management as a Research Analyst for equities, covering both Canadian and U.S. markets from April 2018 to October 2021. As a Fund Manager and Fund Analyst in the PRIME program from October 2016 to April 2018, Mark actively managed an investment fund valued at $1.9 million for the University of Alberta endowment, specializing in the Consumer and Healthcare sectors. Mark also gained experience as a Supply/Marketing, Analytics, and Trading Intern at BP during the summer of 2017. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from the University of Alberta and is a CFA Charterholder.
