Sharlene Smith

Sharlene Smith, MBA, is a seasoned management consultant specializing in technology, currently serving at BCI since September 2018. Prior to this role, Sharlene spent nearly seven years at WorkSafeBC in a similar capacity and held various leadership positions at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, including Senior Director of Strategic Management, Evaluation & Analysis, and Project Manager. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business Analyst at Credential Financial Inc. Sharlene is pursuing an Executive Certificate in Digital Business with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at MIT Sloan School of Management, complementing an MBA in Technology Management from Simon Fraser University and multiple certificates from The University of British Columbia.
