About the role:
Are you looking for a highly motivated team working together to build a category defining product driving massive social impact? The Head of Sales will play a key role in expanding our network of mission-driven brands leading the way in their respective categories.
As with any fast-growing, early-stage team, responsibilities are likely to evolve. The Head of Sales can expect to work closely with our CEO and co-founders, 5-8 members of our growing Sales & BD team, our CS team and Beam’s People Programs Manager to:
· Scale and lead the Sales and Business Development teams · Set targets and strategy · Own the optimization of Beam’s existing Sales playbook, especially by vertical · Coach Senior Account Executives in obstacle removal and salescycle acceleration · Cultivate and close new partner relationships · Identify and cultivate creative channel partnerships to tap into networks of like-minded brands · Refine pricing strategy as we scale · Pitch and test new verticals · Synthesize partner requests into potential new features, and with our Product and Partner Success teams to add requested new features to our product roadmap
About you:
This is a client-facing role for someone who wants to join a company on a path to major scale while creating tremendous social good. The ideal candidate is analytical, tenacious, energetic, driven by impact, and loves a challenge. They excel at written and in-person story-telling, extracting insights from data, and team-building.
Requirements: · 7-15+ years of experience in Sales / Business Development at a high-growth company, including at least 2 with leadership experience · First Head of Sales, OR Director+ at Series A; Scaled from $XM to $XXM/through multiple stages of growth · Experience in a SaaS company with onsite integration, selling to marketing leadership · Experience in ecomm enablement
