Mehmet Cakir

Mehmet Cakir is an experienced technology executive with extensive expertise in IT security and project management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at BEAM Teknoloji AŞ since April 2011, Mehmet has led the company in establishing a Software Quality and Security Testing Center. In addition to this role, Mehmet is the Managing Director of BeamSec and a member of the Executive Board of DEIK - Foreign Economic Relations Board Dijital Teknojiler İş Konseyi. Prior positions include Project Manager at Firmus Ltd. and Miron Yazılım, as well as IT Security Consultant and Senior Researcher at TÜBİTAK UEKAE. Mehmet holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Information Science from Bilkent University, an MSc in Information Security from Gebze Technical University, and a PhD in Philosophy from Ankara University.
