Lisa Smith

Lisa Smith, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in human resources and organizational development. Lisa is currently working as the Vice President of Human Resources at Beam Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Human Resources Director at Parker Hannifin, where they led a global team and implemented a people-first culture. Before joining Parker Hannifin, Lisa served as the Director of Global Change Management and Senior Manager of Global Talent and Organizational Development at CSL. Lisa also has experience as an Owner/Principal Consultant at Apex-People Solutions and held various roles at LORD Corporation, Novan Therapeutics, PCI - Calibration, Commissioning & Consulting, The Select Group, and TEKsystems. Overall, Lisa has demonstrated expertise in driving organizational vision, developing HR strategies, and managing talent and organizational development initiatives.

Lisa Smith, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resource Development from North Carolina State University. Lisa also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. In addition to their degrees, Lisa has obtained several certifications including the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM, and the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HRCI.
