Genevieve Stevens-Johnson

Genevieve Stevens-Johnson is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in teaching and administration within various educational settings. Currently serving as a Music Educator at Beaverton School District since August 2022, Genevieve has also contributed as a substitute teacher in music classes across K-12 levels since October 2018. Past roles include Operations Coordinator for Oregon Repertory Singers, where management and support for choir programs were key responsibilities, as well as Substitute Musicianship Teacher for the Oregon Repertory Singers Youth Choir. Genevieve held the position of President for Southern Washington and Oregon Kodaly Educators, coordinating workshops and events for music educators, and participated in the Art of Leadership Cohort with the Regional Arts & Culture Council. Further contributions include consulting for the Oregon Symphony and coordinating arts experiences as an Arts Coordinator at Access Academy, Portland Public Schools. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Teaching in Music Education from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
