Joanne Waldstreicher

Joanne Waldstreicher is an experienced professional in the medical and pharmaceutical fields, currently serving as an Independent Director for BD and Structure Therapeutics since 2022, and as a Faculty Affiliate at New York University School of Medicine since 2016. Previously, Joanne held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Johnson & Johnson from 2012 to April 2023, where responsibilities included launching the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and overseeing medical safety and bioethical decisions. Additional experience includes various leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary, Janssen, as well as positions at Merck and extensive training at Harvard Medical School. Joanne earned an MD in Medicine from Harvard Medical School and holds a degree from Brooklyn College.
