Ryan Klimczak

Ryan Klimczak is currently an advisor at Beepboop. Prior to that, they were the head of intellectual property at 4D Molecular Therapeutics from June 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they were an advisor at Vedere Bio II from April 2020 to May 2021. Ryan has also worked as a research associate at Stanford University from September 2004 to September 2005. Ryan received their PhD from UC Berkeley in 2010, where they focused on engineering adeno-associated viral vectors to create more efficacious gene delivery vehicles for treating retinal degenerative diseases.

After completing their A.B. in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard University, Ryan Klimczak pursued a Ph.D. in Neurobiology at the University of California, Berkeley. Ryan then went on to earn their J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, with a focus in Intellectual Property. Ryan is also a certified US Patent Attorney and Attorney from the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
