Haysam Azhar

Haysam Azhar is an experienced analyst and inaugural member of Climate Vine, a community focused on climate expertise, since March 2023. Azhar has been contributing to the Climate Policy Initiative as an analyst since July 2021, leading initiatives related to climate finance, including the Climate Finance Development Accelerator and the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. Prior experience includes roles as junior analyst and intern at Climate Policy Initiative, where contributions included developing financial solutions and implementing CRM systems. Additional internships at Climate Finance Advisors, E Co., and various organizations further honed expertise in climate-related financial strategies and research. Haysam Azhar holds a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Finance and Economics from Minerva University and has completed executive education in sustainable finance at the University of Oxford, among other prestigious programs.
