Dr. Theresa Donaldson

Dr. Theresa Donaldson currently serves as the Chair to the Board of Belfast Harbour Commissioners since July 2021 and holds the role of Non Executive Vice Chair at EirGrid since June 2017. Additional board positions include Panel Member at LCJ Solicitors' Disciplinary Panel, Board Member at the Centre for Effective Services, and Volunteer Advisory Committee Member for BBC Children in Need, all of which are ongoing. Dr. Donaldson previously held the position of Chair at SONI until July 2023, and served as a Board Member for the NI Health and Social Care Board from July 2020 to March 2022. With a background in executive leadership as Chief Executive of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council from June 2014 to September 2018, Dr. Donaldson also contributed as a Lay Member for the Legal Services Regulatory Authority and as a Lay member of the Charity Tribunal. Dr. Donaldson's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast and a Chartered Director designation from the Institute of Directors.
