Rudi Vander Vennet

Rudi Vander Vennet is a distinguished professor of economics and banking at Ghent University since September 1995. Concurrently, Rudi serves as a member of the Board of Directors and chair of the Risk and Underwriting Committee at Belfius Insurance, as well as a member of the Board of Directors and the Risk Committee at Belfius Bank. Rudi's extensive board experience includes roles at Vooruit cv, Domino vzw, WoninGent, Electrawinds NV, and CREDIBE. Additionally, Rudi was a member of the EBA Stakeholder Group between April 2011 and September 2013. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Banking from Ghent University and an advanced master in finance, along with fellowship studies at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
