Joeri Maes

Joeri Maes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital transformation, program management, and strategic consultancy within the banking and insurance sectors. Since January 2015, Joeri has held the position of Program Director for Private, Wealth & Invest at Belfius, leading strategic programs to enhance the company's offerings. Joeri's previous roles at Belfius include Program Director for Investments & Insurance and Digital Insurance Director, where responsibilities encompassed the redesign of business models, customer experience optimization, and successful implementation of omnichannel sales strategies. Prior to joining Belfius, Joeri held significant positions at Generali and ING, focusing on online sales strategies and operational excellence. Joeri holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven and has been recognized with several awards, including the Trends Digital Pioneers Award in 2019 and Best Digital Nonlife Insurer by SIA Partners in 2021.
