Alex Thore

Alex Thore is a seasoned marketing and communication executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CEO of Var since January 2024, Alex is also a board member and Captain of the BAM Congress for the Belgian Association of Marketing. Previous positions include Founding Positivist at BUDA.agency and Founder & Chief Magisian at MAGIS.agency, along with significant contributions as a Jury Member for Effie Belgium and Chair of BtoB Awards. Alex's tenure at Proximus involved defining CRM, CSR, branding, and communication strategies as a member of the Leadership Team, while prior roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Danone included various marketing management positions. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Business Engineering and Economics from Solvay Brussels School and a Master’s from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
