JB Portillo

JB Portillo is currently a Board Member at Bella Vista Property Owners Association. Prior to that, JB worked for KBR, Inc. from January 2003 to July 2013. During that time, JB held the position of Manager, Government Compliance. In this role, JB was a key member of the corporate accounting system implementation team in 2003-2004 and current 2012 ERP blueprinting to assure government compliance. Additionally, JB led or assisted in System Review Audits as DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) interface, managed the Government Compliance Training function using both internal and external sources, and managed the Expense Reporting process. JB was also a key member of the Expense Reporting Automation Team and the Timekeeping/Floorcheck audit process for both internally and as interface with DCAA. Furthermore, JB developed processes and procedures for various systems and spearhead new policy implementation for the Government Compliance Department to include assuring current compliance information is communicated to all employees. JB has written several procedure manuals as well as disclosure statements and guidance papers. Lastly, JB managed the Unallowable Testing process to include process and testing teams.

JB Portillo has a Masters Certificate in Government Contracting from The George Washington University, a B.A. in Business Administration & Economics with a concentration in Accounting & Finance from Richmond College, and an M.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Dallas (27 hrs).
