John Stahr-Ma has been in the Human Resources field for over 10 years. John started their career as a Human Resource Consultant with CBIZ in May of 2015. In this role, they provided HR strategic support to executive and management teams to determine best practices and improve business success through effective human capital management. John also ensured compliance for leave of absence administration for FMLA and ADA, annual reviews such as handbook development and updates, and annual reporting requirements.

In February of 2009, John became the Manager of Employee Development/Operations Manager with Crestpoint Management LLC. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing and mitigating risk as it relates to hiring, termination, employee relations, reasonable accommodation requests, and harassment and discrimination investigations. John also operated as HR contact for day-to-day employee relations by providing supervisor support as well as employee coaching. Additionally, they ensured all cyclical projects were completed timely and accurately including payroll, open enrollment, compliance, and reporting requirements, and benefit reconciliations.

Most recently, in June of 2018, John became the Human Resource Manager at Beltservice. In this role they are responsible for reviewing, analyzing, developing plan, and initiating responses and required actions for changes in law and best practices.

John Stahr-Ma has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University in the field of Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have also obtained a Master of Arts from Webster University in Human Resource Management. For their undergraduate studies, John Stahr-Ma attended Southeast Missouri State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. John also holds two certifications from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in PHR and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
