Meritxell Orpinell, PhD, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and professional services management, particularly within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as a Senior Leader in Professional Services for EMEA at Benchling since January 2021, Meritxell has previously held various roles including Advisor at Pangea and Senior Project Manager at ERT. Meritxell's background encompasses significant laboratory management and research experience, including positions as Senior Research Scientist and Lab Manager at UNIL, as well as research scientist roles at EPFL, IGBMC, and IRB Barcelona, where project management and experimental design played key roles. Educational achievements include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universitat de Barcelona, along with multiple master's degrees and additional certifications in related fields.
