David Payne

David Payne is a skilled credit analyst with experience at Benchmark Bank since December 2021, following an internship with the firm in mid-2021. In these roles, David has developed expertise in evaluating financial risk by comparing liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of prospective borrowers, as well as analyzing financial data for loan viability. Prior to this, experience includes working as a sales representative at Caprock Painting and operating an eCommerce store for Simply Beached Swim Co., showcasing strong sales skills and entrepreneurial spirit. David also contributed to family-owned Flatwater Kayak Enterprises as a sales associate and provided customer service support at Mac's Bar and Grill. David graduated from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business in 2022.
