Christopher Swam

As a founding member of BenefitsApp, Chris brings industry expertise and significant financial management expertise to the business. In his role of founding member of Basswood Investment Group, LLC, Chris has over 26 years of experience with entrepreneurial company building, investing, executive leadership, M&A and successful exit strategies. He has held various executive and financial leadership positions in the insurance, healthcare and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Basswood Investment Group, Chris served as Chief Executive Officer for WorkforceTactix, Inc. where he was responsible for WorkforceTactix’s growth, long term strategy and successful exit. Prior to becoming WorkforceTactix’s CEO, Chris served as Chief Financial Officer for two privately held, Maryland based organizations. Chris is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland having earned his MBA from the Sellinger School of Business with a concentration in Finance along with a BA in Accounting. He has actively served on several boards for various local organizations over the past 15 years.
