Jeff Stern is a distinguished lecturer at Bentley University, where Jeff has been teaching since August 2006 in the English and Media Studies department, covering topics such as Video Production, Directing, and The History of American Independent Film. In addition to their teaching role, Jeff Stern serves as the Director of the Media and Culture Labs & Studio, and previously held the position of Senior Lecturer. Stern coordinated the First Annual Bentley Digital Fast in 2014, promoting a screen-free weekend for the community. As a Production Manager for the Seacoast Digital Fast since August 2016, Stern created an initiative encouraging the New Hampshire Seacoast community to go without screens and devices for 48 hours. Furthermore, as a filmmaker with Good Old Future Films since 2001, Jeff has written, directed, and edited over 20 narrative short films, some of which have been featured in film festivals, and produced promotional videos for non-profit organizations. Jeff Stern holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.
