Taylor James

Taylor James is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Assistant Public Information Officer for Berkeley County (SC) Government since February 2022. Prior to this role, Taylor worked at WCSC-TV Live 5 News from June 2017 to March 2022 as both an Executive Producer and News Producer, responsible for producing daily hour-long evening newscasts, including content writing and graphic design. Taylor also held the position of News Producer at WACH FOX from May 2015 to May 2017, where significant responsibilities included managing breaking news coverage during critical events such as the 2015 historic floods and the Emanuel AME Church shooting. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina, completed in 2015.
