Julie Zhu Cih

Julie Zhu CIH, CSP, MPH is an experienced Industrial Hygienist currently co-managing the Biosafety Program at Berkeley Lab since April 2015, where responsibilities include consulting on biosafety-related issues and organizing Institutional Biosafety Committee meetings. Prior to this role, Julie Zhu served as an Industrial Hygiene Assistant at Sanofi Pasteur, where tasks involved conducting chemical risk assessments, developing sampling strategies, and conducting various workplace assessments while also engaging in employee training and policy updates. Julie Zhu began the professional journey as a research student at Vancouver General Hospital and holds a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Occupational and Environmental Health from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia.
